Buying a home was a huge goal of mine for many years now. As a single mother it has been quite a challenge. But I was up for the challenge and took on side gigs, setup a savings plan and worked on my credit to get where we needed to be. I took this goal to the next level in April 2021 when I started talking to Lenders. With the advantage of working from home I was able to get my employers approval to relocate to another state. This made a huge difference as I could now look into areas that were more in our budget and that is when the dream really started to come true. I went from looking into manufactured/modular homes to new stick built homes. And this is where we landed, with model 1802b through Century Complete homes. One thing that was tough was that there were no models of this home anywhere near where we currently lived and so I had to go off of drawings and walk through videos of a digital plan of the home, no actual pictures anywhere.
